I've read most of the Cloisters threads here and read about it on the web and I've seen two things mentioned that I was curious about and couldn't find more info. on.
1) that cloisters students have an opportunity to get the rest of med school paid for? I assume that if this was even ever true, it's no longer true?
2) that after med school graduation, hhmi students only can apply for a $150K grant for lab start up costs (or something)?
So I guess my question is, are there any add'l scholarships or funding (besides the stuff listed on the website like the 28K grant, travel expenses, book money, etc) associated w/ being in the cloisters program? If so, I'd love to know more details. Thanks!
