Just curious. Those of you in private practices, do you employ medical assistants or do any of you use certified nurses aides? From what i am seeing, cna gets paid less than ma but i'm not sure what one can do in a private clinic more than the other.

CNA's, CMA's, etc are all "ancillary office staff." You can train them to do whatever you like....except push sedation drugs...you need an RN for that...
 
Hi. Can an MA start an IV at an OBS ?
(not an infusion, just the IV & cap).
