I'm not in college yet but I want to be ahead in deciding what path to take.

I have looked up the PA school I would like to get into when I get my bachelor but I'm lost completly lost.

Question 1 - I don't know what is a good major to choose that would already have the pre-req classes

Question 2 - How long will they take to complete?

Question 3 - Would it be better to get direct patient experience first before going for my bachelor's?

Question 4 - Do I choose these courses my freshman year?

These are the pre-req required

  • Completed 12 semester hours (4 courses) in the biological sciences. Examples include: general biology or zoology, anatomy, physiology, human genetics, microbiology, cell and molecular biology;
  • Completed at least six semester hours (2 courses) in Behavioral or Social Sciences. We only accept Psychology, Sociology, Human Growth and Development towards the behavioral science prerequisite. Anthropology, Humanities, and Criminology courses are not accepted.
  • Completed a minimum of six semester hours in (2 courses) general chemistry and three semester hours (1 course) in either organic chemistry or biochemistry;
