Quick question for you SDN experts out there..I'm writing my "Is there anything else" essay for my home school. (Madison.) I'm trying to establish a sense of tradition that comes with me being a state resident for many years. Because of this, I've used such terms as "cheesehead" and "bubbler". Is personalizing this essay in such a way a good thing? Will they look down at me because of it?

Fo' shizzle, my nizzle. Dizzle my wizzle, crizzle. Izzle. Word.

I don't think colloquialisms speak to your professionalism in these application essays.
