The fact is, I'm color blind. I never describe anything by it's color because I can't differentiate a lot of them. Will I have serious problems if I want to go to Medical school to become a primary health care physician? Does anyone know any color blind doctors? I'm sure there are many out there, but I would like to know how much difficulty they have.
Thanks in advance.

Jay,

I work with an MD, clinical epidemiologist, who is color blind. Because of the research he is involved in, he sees patients and has to look at a wide range of differentially stained cells under microscope as well. Yes, to me, he is not affected much at all by his color blindess, whether in his clinic or in his lab. I was quite surprised when he told me he is color blind!

So, Jay, keep your hopes up and don't let this bother you at all. I hope this helps.
