Not that I have much of a chance at this, but someone mentioned in the interview feedback for columbia (http://www.studentdoctor.net/interview/show_entry.asp?ID=12470) that they offer merit scholarships. This is news to me... Does anyone have any more information about this? Are they available for the first year of med school?
