For the Columbia secondary questions,

4. About how many hours per week, if any, did you spend in work for which you were recompensed during the college year?

5. What sort of work did you do (include summer employment)?

If you put down that you werent paid for any of your work in question 4 what should you put down for question 5 since it has a star by it indicating it needs to be answered.

This may seem obvious, but just answer it.

Repeat yourself if necessary. You did various amounts of work right? Just write it down...even if you weren't paid for it.
