Combined Neuro-PM&R

I have been searching the past threads as well as the internet, but I have not been able to find out about combined Neuro-PM&R programs. Does that mean you are a neurologist and Physiatrist or a neuro-rehab doc or something else?!?

this seems like it should be a very easy answer, but i have tried searching using all different combos of keywords with not much success.

any help would be appreciated.

I don't know of any combined Neuro/PM&R residency programs. If you did do a combined residency, you would be board eligible for both Neurology and Physiatry. Many Physiatrists interested in Neurorehabilitation would probably do a TBI or Stroke Fellowship. One of our attendings was a Neurologist for about 15 years before he decided to go back and do a PM&R residency. He still does Neurology consults.
