COMLEX Step 3

Just wanted to see if any interns out there are on this page. I just got through Step 3. It was not fun. Let me know what you all think.
I could have sworn that the 'ol saying was "study 2 weeks for step 1, 2 days for step 2, and bring 2 number two pencils to Step 3."

That doesn't fly anymore.

Is step 3 taken near the conclusion of the PGY-1 or can it be taken before that? I looked on the nbome website and it doesn't state exactly when it can be taken. Thanks.

The first test is usually in December, about 6 months into your internship. You can take it then, if you want to. The other test is in June, near the end of your internship. I would suggest taking it in December. If you do not pass, you can take it again in June.
