Hi, I'm currently in my second year at an osteopathic medical school, and I'm in need of some insight. Can anyone tell me about any differences(if any) between the COMLEX and USMLE board exams? I'm most interested in subject material tested on, style of questions, etc etc...
As far as I know, OPP is an additional subject that osteopathic medical students are tested on, and this is the major difference between the two exams. Please tell me if this presumption is correct...
I'm considering sitting for both boards, so any information would be greatly appreciated...especially from people who have had the opportunity to sit for both tests. Thanks!

M2 here also...so this is only what I've read/heard...

COMLEX: More pharm, micro, anatomy and OMM
USMLE: More biochem and molecular

search for a post by Idiopathic where he wrote a detailed account of his experience

Several USMLE resources, USMLE practice questions, and one good OMM book with questions was enough to help me pass COMLEX.

... and also, not ignoring 2 excellent years at PCOM
