I attend an Ivy League university as a Junior currently. I've done/will do all my prereqs at the university, however, this summer I"m looking into some CC classes. They'l be likely language classes, writing classes, or class I haven't been able to enjoy while trudging through the hellhole that is the premed process. Will this be looked down on as an padding GPA sort of opportunity?

a few classes can't change a GPA much at all even if that was your intent, so no.

As long as you're not taking the pre-reqs you're good.

You're not taking prereqs, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Maybe have a good reason in case you are asked (unlikely). Close to home? Cheaper? These are valid and I don't think it would be looked down upon at all.

It's cheaper, it's a way to do classes I want without having to spend semester time (summer classes) It's like 100 feet from home.
