Which Med schools do you all feel emphasizes serving the community? A lot of mission statements have general information where they touch on this, but I'm wondering if anyone has any further insight? Looking for mostly east coast schools. thank you!
Also,
I've heard that many people in med school dont attend lecture after the first year and that one should consider a school based on whether or not lecture is mandatory. I'm not too familiar with this though process and approach, and wondering if folks have experience as to why people would prefer this?
