My wife is going to be a third year med student this summer. I?ll be starting my D1 year in August. We will be separated by about 70 miles. Was wondering if anyone has or has had a similar situation and what you will be doing about it. She is considering transferring but not sure if my school will allow it. The alternative is to commute about 35 miles each.

Wow, talk about losts of debt!
It actually might be a good idea to commute. 35 miles isn't that far and it will probaly be a lot cheaper than living in Ann Arbor or Lansing (I'm assuming your wife goes to MSU). Your house will be a blast on game day! I feel sorry for your kids. Who will they cheer for?!
