Can you help me to rank the five NY mid to low tier med schools:

1. Albany
2. NYMC
3. SUNY (Buffalo)
4. SUNY (Stony Brook)
5. SUNY (Syracuse)

I am interested in:
1. Quality and reputation of the program
2. Location, neighborhood, cultural life

Expenses are not a factor. Thanks for your help.

Hey, where's Downstate? :(

SUNY Stony Brook(far ahead... they have amazing research)
SUNY Downstate(Those placements are nearly Harvard-esque)
SUNY Upstate/SUNY Buffalo(Roughly the same)
NYMC
Albany

Sorry, my fault. Should be six NY schools:

4. SUNY (Stony Brook)
5. SUNY (Syracuse)
6. SUNY (Downstate)

How would you rank them?

Quality and Rep:
1) Stony Brook (by far, as mentioned above)
2) Downstate (clinical experience is unparalleled.. I don't know about the Harvardesque match comment though)
3) Upstate
4) Buffalo/NYMC no idea how they compare.
5) Albany

Location, neighborhood, cultural life:
1) NYMC (close to NYC along with a decent neighborhood nearby)
2) Downstate (ghetto as hell, but nice BK areas nearby e.g. Park Slope, Williamsburgh)
3) Stonybrook (it's exit 62 off the LIE for god's sake)
3) Albany
4) Buffalo/Upstate (snore Upstate, NY)

If I was given the chance, I would pick Stonybrook.
