Just curious, is the competition for medical school admissions more stiff this year compared to last year, or about the same. I heard last year was an anomaly with just an insane amount of competition. I was just curious if you all know anything about this.

I read on AAMC.org that the number of med school slots increased this year (by ~10% I think). So, competition cannot be as bad as it was last year.
