Can anyone explain how schools jumped like 30 spots in the span of a year? For example- since this seems to be a popular school around here- how Harvard jumped from #42 to number ELEVEN in the primary care rankings?? [so bogus......]

Bogus, yes. It's pretty well known that US News rankings are "bogus." Unfortunately everyone uses them.

Haha I'm guessing that the OP's enthusiasm for CA isn't unique to just him/her! Everyone I know loves this place too! And as for "long live cali," I think it does make sense, even if it is in a joking way. Kinda sounds like when they say "Viva Mexico", which literally means the same LOL.
