I was admitted to a med school for this upcoming class and today I had a final exam for a physio class (my current school has quarter system). I think I kinda screwed up the test and may be getting a boarderline grade between a B and C. I'm all set to graduate in June and I just took this physio class for fun since I've completed all my degree requirements. So technically, if I do get a C in the class, I can still graduate with my degree and the med school would still be accepting me based on that. But will they look at this C and reject me because of it? The print on my acceptance letter says something like this "your acceptance is conditional based on successful completion of the degree program you're enrolled in and maintainance of the level of academic performance that's part of the basis for your acceptance." Any ideas?
Now I just have to cross my fingers to hope I'll find out that I get a good grade in a few days.... 🙁

I'm concerned about my calc grade also. But I'm going with the "as long as I get a C or above I'm in" philosophy. Otherwise, I'll just freak out. :scared:

I mean, if get a C or above they won't rescind my acceptance!

So... will C be enough for the med schools to keep the acceptance offer? Or it differs from school to school? Thanks!

Worried... 😕

I got two 2.5's my last semester...it doesn't really matter. All that medical schools get to see is a degree notification that says "so and so has graduated with a degree." Live it up peeps 👍

Unless they told you otherwise in the conditions of your acceptance, a C should be fine. But if you're worried, call them and check.

Some schools specifically tell you you in the acceptance letter that you must get a C or above in all remaining coursework. So it's probably fine, but could be school specific. I personally wouldn't worry about it -- it's a pain for them to have to go back to the drawing board and shuffle the class list around and start trying to pull folks out of the waitlist to fill your spot. But I'm sure I wouldn't want to call a school to ask how low I could get in my remaining classes though -- it won't give them a positive perspective of you. 🙄
