    So there are a fair amount of programs that I am really interested in and have not heard...now i have emailed them inquiring about the status of my application twice andf haven't heard and called some and have been told the generic reply that the applications are under review without asking me how early I applied.....So now my question is what to do????? should I email the PD and bring to his attention that I applied pretty early and still have not heard anything?????

    i would be hesitant to email the PD, esp if you have already contacted the secretary by email (twice) or phone. at this time, i feel like programs are inviting additional candidates when someone declines their offer. maybe others can provide some more insight....

    I agree ... it seems like all programs have given out all interviews at this point and if you haven't been rejected then u might be on the alternate list for interviews and will get a call depending on how many cancellations they get and where on the wait list you are ...

    Good Luck :luck::luck::luck:
