Hey, does anyone have an electronic copy of the Cornell and/or Case Western secondary app? Both schools downloaded my stuff from AMCAS last week, but I still haven't gotten an e-mail...

I am waiting on Case Western also. I have not got an email, and my guess is that my stats are at least competitive enough to get a secondary invite.

I got an e-mail from case last night with the secondary link, but you need the crazy password they give you. It should come soon if you haven't already received it.

Last year Cornell sent out the secondary at the end of July. It was online and pretty basic. I had saved mine to my computer - the "essay" type questions (which are only a couple of lines) were: If you are not attending college in the next year, what are your plans and in the space provided, please write a brief statement, giving your reasons for applying to Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
Other than that they asked for biographical info.

Thanks Waterbug! Actually, I just recieved my secondary e-mail from Cornell, so now i'm waiting for Case and GW....

The cornell questions were just like you said 🙂

Quid, I had to email GW specifically and ask for their secondary. I think they are having big problems with their email system. I didn't want to get lost in the shuffle, so I went ahead and asked them to send me it, and they replied promptly.

I haven't gotten Case's either, but I didn't realize they screen...so maybe that's that?

I just called Case Western and they said that everybody gets a secondary. There is no pre-secondary screening this year. What I did not ask, however, is whether they are prioritizing the secondary invites. They downloaded my app on the first or second day, and I have not got an invite yet, so they may be skimming the cream first. Who knows.
