Anybody out there go to Cornell Med that went to a CC for part of undergrad? Did you take any of the pre-reqs at the CC? If so, how did Cornell respond? Thanks

I think they address this on their web page under the FAQ, and I believe it says there that they discourage it.

Having said that I am at Cornell Med now and did my bio and chem pre-reqs at a community college as a post-bac. I did however do many other classes at a variety of much more rigorous institutions (Harvard, WashU etc) that would have endorsed my academic abilities and my undergrad was not from a CC.

I did my first semester in a community college and took one semester each of chem, bio, calc, english, and psych there. Cornell sent me a secondary.
