"Cosmetic Dentistry".... such a fancy cool term, but I don't think there are any cosmetic dentistry departments in most if not all schools.

I don't know if many schools offer it during undergrad but Buffalo has a pseudoresidency program in cosmetics.

USC has a cosmetic dentistry selective your third year. To be in it you just need to be in the top 20% of the class in anterior fixed pros.

There should be a corollary to the truth-in-advertising laws, requiring anyone who has had cosmetic surgery, orthodontics, etc. to obtain a signed statement of disclosure from anyone with whom they try to breed.

Buffalo has a good "aesthetic denistry" one year residency program. I hear las veegas has the best.

Universidad de Guadalajara. I saw an amazing all ceramic crown on #8 that was truly superb. The Pt said he got it in Mexico. I was in awe.

Its all about what you are allowed to do with the faculty in clinic.

At our school there are a couple of students in my team that are working on veneer cases. I have a patient that I am finishing the treatment plan for an implant on#8. I won't place the implant but i will assist in the placement of the implant and then I will do the restoration.

Besides that I have done some sweet denture cases. Man those things are totally cosmetic and you can take them out at night!!!
