Counting AP Credits

I am a non-trad taking my final courses before I apply. I actually got 5's in AP bio and AP chem in high school. My undergrad gave me credit for these. Would med schools accept these as pre-reqs if I take orgo and biochem at the college level? I see some schools say they accept AP credit, but I'm not sure how it works. Thanks!
