forgive me if this is better in the eras/match forum, but i doubted any of the hyper 4th years in there would be able to answer it ... its more of a question to someone who has actually filled out the couples match ROL.
my bf and i are both DOs. however, i will be applying to MD spots (PGY1). my bf will be applying to DO internship (PGY1) and MD residency (PGY2). how the heck will this work on the couples match? since we'll be in different matches for PGY1, then we definitely cant couples match, correct? is it possible to couples match his PGY2 with my PGY1 - even though he'd be starting a year behind? at least we'd be in the same city for the majority of residency? is that even an option?
