couples match

I am doing IM and couples matching with an Emergency Medicine candidate. Does anyone have any advice or experience to share? Has anyone going through the couples match requested interviews at the institution where their significant other has already received an interview?

I am IM and couples matching with Peds. My fiancee got an interview at an institution in another state and I had not yet heard from them. I called them and explained the situation, they were very nice about scheduling an interview for me on the very same day. It is definitely worth a try, I'm sure it is not a rare request and if you do it politely you definitely have nothing to lose.
