As a Biomedical Engineering major, I take some physiology courses. One of them is labeled BMED - Advanced Systems Physiology and really is just bio/physiology and involves no engineering. If I put the Course Number as BMED XXXX, can I classify it as Biology under the Course Classification space? I`m asking because under the Help section, AMCAS states Course Classification is based ENTIRELY on course content. It would definitely increase my BCMP gpa....

So is it classified as ENGI or BIOL ?

Don’t go crazy with course classification. Put it as whatever you want. If AMCAS doesn’t agree, then they will just change it. They changed about 10 of my course classifications and I got verified without any delays. Hope this helps.

Exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks alot!
