What does "Course Number" mean on the AMCAS? I can't seem to find the actual numbers used for registration on any of my transcipts. They don't mean something like CHEM 1B, or ENGL 28, do they?

Yeah, that's what they mean. Chem 101's course number is 101. If you can fit the "chem" part in there too that's great, but my school uses a four-number system, so I could only fit the number in...

There are 8 spaces in the blank, and you are to fill in the LAST 8 digits of the name. That means: CHEM118a, or HEM121La, etc.
