Creighton and the Boards?

Since I am probably headed to Creighton this fall, I was wanting to know whether they teach to the boards in any way?

You might wanna pm big frank I think he goes there. He had one of the highest step 1 score in the usmle forums last year.

I go to Creighton Med....the board scores here are pretty good. The class average is slightly above the national mean. Generally I found that everything in the board review books was covered somewhere in the curriculum among the 1st two years. Hope this helps.

I am a second year at Creighton... I have only flipped through some of the review books but I agree with the previous poster, most things seem to have been at least covered which hopefully will help with getting ready.

I heard last year that the pass rate was about 90%... hearsay but consistent among several sources. Granted, pass rate doesn't say how well people did, just that in general most passed. I think how you do is variable and reflects your own preparation more than your school.
