"Cross talk" between Northwestern and UChicago

Someone said in an old thread (http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=411377&highlight=get+into+Northwestern, post #46) that these two adcoms talk to each other about applicants. Does anyone else know this to be a fact?
I love both schools, even though they are quite different. I'd hate to think getting into one diminishes chances at the other schools.

Considering that thread is 3 years old, who knows. It's all speculation. Even if they did I doubt they would admit it.

I highly doubt they do. They poach a lot of applicants from eachother with scholarship money and really compete for applicants.

This makes more sense IMO. Although it could be crosstalk like "hey we want this person a lot" "well what are you willing to pay for him/her? =P" lol
