I am a current TY looking to complete my year and then join a PGY-2 program summer of 2017. Any leads would be appreciated.

Mayo AZ has a spot for a PGY 2. However, that's for now.
I would talk to your PD. A finite number of places have a PGY 2 spot that opens up as some PGY 1s decide on continuing in IM. The information about these would be there under ERAS. They show up on the list as advanced programs.
