Hi guys, new kid on the block. Besides more research time and maybe time for more elective rotations, any other advantages of a 1.5 curriculum over 2 years if both are p/f and unranked?

You also start core clerkships earlier, which means that you have more time explore different specialties before figuring out which one you want to pursue.
