Curving verbal

Is there such a thing as curving verbal? I always thought in the eyes of the mcat makers, verbal is reading and interpreting(stuff you did on the sat, some do better than others) so there shouldnt be a curve.

well...all the sections are curved, that's how they get that nice bell shaped distribution

I guess I didn't have one. I was just pointing out that even though it is curved, it is still the toughest area graded.

Yes, of course it's curved, and it's on a harsher grading scale, because you get most of the questions right, and instead of giving everyone 10-15, they have to turn up the heat.
