Cut Offs and Sens/Spec/PPV/NPV

Just confirming..

Reducing the cut off would do the following:
- Increase Sensitivity
- Decrease Specificity
- Increase NPV
- Decrease PPV

Just confirming.. Is that right ?

Yes. Decreasing cutoff would make it easier to be positive..catching all positives (increasing sensitivity, decreasing specificity). However, some of those will be false positives...decreasing PPV, increasing NPV.
