How exactly are college classes taken during high school looked at? Because I took Physics 1 during the fall of my senior year in high school and got a 2.9 as a grade(is this a B- ?). I am planning on taking physics this summer and would like to retake 1 and then also take 2 and lab. I talked to the dean and she said that I should consider taking the 2.9 as it will be looked at anyways. However, I definetly can do much better than that and would like to take it again anyways. Or should I not even bother taking physics again at the same school and choose a different one. I guess I would not submit the grades from the school since those classes were from high school but isnt that against the rules? I do not want to take it at my school which is Case Western and might be difficult. I am in the BA/MD program so any option is pretty much available aka I don't have to impress anyone. WHAT SHOULD I DO!? Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Your high school grades dont show up on your AMCAS. Only your AP Credits. If you're talking about college courses taken during high school, then thats another thing. If you retake it, i twont replace the grade, you'll have both grades on your transcript, and it wont be averaged (that only happens if you take it at the same institution).
