From someone experienced, what comes to your mind when you hear those words...

B/c for the last couple of days, I been searching for some kind of reasearch that fascinated me and came upon genetics and I want to do research with this professor who does that and thus I need to write an email to him telling him of my interest particulary in genetics, but if I could crack some of the "Cytogenetics and genetic toxicology" stuff too, it would be wonderful....

Cytogenetics involves investigating specific chromosomal malfeasances.

Genetic toxicity involves situations that cause damage to the genome on a global scale.

Odds are, if these are not two separate studies, this PI is looking at the effects of certain treatments that cause chromosomal irregularities. Sounds pretty cool to me.

Thanks..

& Yeah, his research explanation sounded really cool, but I never got through the big words he used...
