the root length of mand 1st molar is 14mm
mand 2nd molar is 13mm and that of third is 11mm so as we go posteriorly the roots get shorter.
you can refer it in wheelers textbook for DA

yes the answer 1000% is (c),because as we moving posteriorly both of the crown and the root for both jaws are becoming shorter.
