Hi guys, kinda freaking out so I wanted to get someone else's opinion on my situation. This semester I ended up getting a D in a history class and that pulled my GPA down to a 3.3 unfortunately. This is my first D ever, I'm a sophomore in college and Ive been getting only A's and B's and want to apply to dental school after undergrad. Should i retake the class/ will dental schools make a big deal out of that one grade? I hope to do really good in coming classes but this D on my transcript is killing me, id appreciate any advice!!

Don't worry about it, just crush your classes here on out. One D in a non science is not going to throw up a red flag or prevent you from getting an interview. Be positive, you got plenty of time to raise that GPA and impress the admissions committee!

Thank you so much!! I feel a little better now and will definitely use this as a lesson to learn from 🙂
