    between the two, i would have to guess the 1st due to the transverse ridge. could be wrong though.

    i saw a question smwhere..............which tooth has no central groove
    with choices of all premolars...........so wanted to confirm............i think the most appropriate choice is 1............................

    Mandibular first premolar have central develomemental groove, but because of transverse ridge it is not continuous..so depends on the question...
    I am certain ( i took the board practical) and if you are doing mandibular first premolar, you can't cross that transverse ridge and that is how I know
