i am going to dartmouth in a few weeks for interview and am looking for hotels in the area. any suggestions from past dartmouth interviewees?
is the hanover inn within walking distance to the med school in suit and dress shoes?

When I went I stayed at the motel 8 that they suggested which is cheap and about 10 minutes driving. Plus they have an "interview rate". But on my way there I saw the Hanover inn and it is walking distance. I would try to know my way before interview day, I got lost and so few people seemed to know where the medical school admission was 😕 But everybody is nice and tries to help.

The Hanover Inn is right next to the school but its expensive. I stayed at the Cheiftain Inn that they recommended. They have a free continental breakfast and will drive you to your interview if you ask them the night before. 👍

Absolutely kick ass. I wish more medical schools had this type of venue close by.

The Hanover Inn is about a five minute walk to the admissions office. It was $200 a night which is pretty expensive, but the hotel is really nice and has a couple of good places to eat.

I stayed with a student. I recommend this for two reasons. 1) save money and 2) you get to talk to them about how the school functions. It is a real plus!


To get a list of the students all you have to do is log onto their website (they shoudl have given you a site and password. If not, then call them and ask for it...their offices open again January 3rd. So, call that day)
