I received an email from Andrew Welsh today telling me to call the DMS admissions office. He also called my parents and didn't say anything, just to call him. I'm in Thailand and morning here is night in the us... I have to wait all day for the office to open.

Do you think this is good news?

I know someone who got in early last week, but I'm not sure if it was a phone call. From hearing of other late-June/July acceptances, it sounds like they give you a phone call and only give you a couple days to decide yes or no--they don't want to wait on snail mail.

I just talked to Andrew Welsh and horseradish99 was right-- it was good news!! I'm thrilled because Dartmouth was a real reach for me. So maybe the waitlist is starting to pick up steam-- good luck to all of you, I hope to see you next fall at DMS!

By the way, I'm going to be in the Hanover area looking for a place to live. If anyone's interested in getting together, I'll be in town 7/16-7/18. I'd love to meet some of my new classmates.
