Does anyone have Anne Hill's phone number--or, the number of whoever handles Dartmouth's admissions? Their site is down, but I desperately need to inquire about my status. Thanks

P.S. Andy Welch is Dartmouth's director of admissions. He's one of the nicest, down-to-earth, most helpful people I've encountered in admissions.

Please please please. I KNOW some of you have interviewed there already!

Do you know what dates are filling up? i.e., have they already scheduled interviews for November and December?

Sorry, I couldn't say... I've been complete since 8/8 but haven't heard anything yet. At any rate, even if you haven't heard anything, you're still in the running so just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best! 🙂

Yeah, I just can't help but think that if I interview there in the spring, then I'll be interviewing for a spot on the waitlist. That's why I'm so panicked. I've heard great things about Dartmouth--doesn't it rank highest in student happiness?--and would really love to check out the school.

It is a great school! I'm here for undergrad right now and its definitely one of my top choices for med school. I'm friends with a few MS1's and 2's and they all have had great experiences. The only complaint (not just from med students) are the long, cold winters...

Are you checking to see if you are complete there? Or are you contacting the admissions office even afterwards to see if there is any change in your status? Just curious 🙂

I'll look for it later, but according to my friend who interviewed there last year, Dartmouth is #1 in that category. I trust her b/c her taste is almost identical to mine. I also know a guy who is a current first year there, and he raved about Dartmouth and chose it because of the friendly atmosphere. Of course, diff people will feel comfortable in diff schools. I just came back from two supposedly very friendly campuses and felt at once that they weren't right for me. Thanks for the interview date info. Hopefully, I'll hear back soon and get an interview in Nov!

Oh, and Anamarie, I've been complete at Dartmouth since 8/25.
