Hi everyone,

Just a friendly note to anyone who preparing for the DAT. I've found the DAT audio learning tapes is very helpful in refreshing your memory for bio, Gchem and Ochem.

It helps in memorizing. I score better on practice after I used the tapes. "The voice stays with you longer....."

How exactly are the tapes set up? Do they just spit out random facts and formulas? I was thinking stuff like chem needed to be seen and practiced on paper.

Also, what company makes them, and where did you get them?

you can get them either on Amazon:

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0970419910/qid=1022166549/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/103-6032009-2916650" target="_blank">http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0970419910/qid=1022166549/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/103-6032009-2916650</a>

Or directly from the manufacturer:

<a href="http://www.audiolearn.net/dat.htm" target="_blank">http://www.audiolearn.net/dat.htm</a>

It consists of 3 tapes: 3sides (bio), 2 sides(Gchem), 1side(Ochem).

Yes, they pointed out important facts by saying: remember this, know this concept...It is easier to remember when someone say it out loud. From my personal experience, the tapes speed up my studying for biology section. It's been a while that I took bio, so it's a pain to go back and try to understand the subject.
