Thanks to SDN for the support and guidance. I know i could have done better, but this score doesnt define who i am. Still i am hopeful to get into Texas Dental Schools, specially Houston. :xf:

PAT: I used CDP and Achiever. I was scoring higher in CDP than my actual test. usually people start working on PAT by the end of their preparation time, if you want to score a 20 and above, start when you start working for sciences and work it out every day.

Quantitative Reasoning I used Math Destroyer, Kaplan,Topscore, Chad's Videos and Datqvault. Math is my weakest area and on the practice tests that i took i was scoring higher than the actual test.

Reading Comp By the last week of practice and using Crack, Qvault, Kaplan and topscore, i was not scoring above a 19. I was very frustrated because reading comp is all about finding the answer from the given text, how hard can that be right? During testing i had to keep myself motivated. i constantly reminded myself not to give up. It helped.

Biology Biology has been my strongest subject and i scored the lowest in it. I had a panic attack when the test started and i will blame my score on not being able to over come the panic attack in a timely manner. I used chad's videos, Cliff Ap, Barron's Flash cards, Kaplan blue book, Tops Score, Qvault and some achiever tests. The questions in biology were not very direct, they were all application questions. i dont think i got a single question that asked an answer directly except one or two.

Gen Chem😍 CHAD< CHAD AND CHAD. 95% of the questions were calculations.

Organic Chem CHAD and Destroyer. I thought that i knew all the questions on organic, apparently NOT. Mostly it was simple reactions, aldol condensation, claissen condensation, Addition, elimination and substitution reactions.

If you need any help, you can always message me. I just hope i get in.:xf:

I wouldn't cry about the 18 in bio. You did really well on the other sciences! Great work.

Good job on Gen chem and Orgo. Solid scores.

Congrats on the awesome scores! I would not be too worried if I were you. Best of luck with the application process!

Nice score!

Can you give an example of a bio application question? I don't quite understand what you mean.

Do you know what is the average score of people that are applying to Texas Dental schools?

The average for Texas schools last year was 19.6
On QVault i was scoring in 20s, qVault is pretty easy compared to the actual thing.
Example of application questions in bio would be, if a person suffers from a disease called X, what type of mutation can cause that disease.

You definitely have a good chance. What else have you heard about Texas Dental schools? How is their training and classroom learning?
