DAT Reading Section. For people who have taken the actual DAT recently...

Are the questions on the DAT Reading in order?

In the practice test I ordered for $28, the questions were in order. In the Kaplan book, they were not.

I searched the forum but was unable to get a clear cut answer about this so I was hoping someone must know.

This one says that they are NOT in order....

By order you mean that the questions are systematic and correlated to the paragraph (i.e. question 1 will come from para 1, question2 from para 2, etc). If that's what you were asking then the answer is no, the questions are in completely random order.

You're not guaranteed any order, i.e. paragraph 1 questions appear first, followed by paragraph 2, nor the type of questions asked (info., tone, true/false, etc.). That's another reason why I personally found it best to read the entire article first, rather than the search-and-destroy. (Totally subjective, though. I just know that my comprehension benefits from reading the entire article once through)
