How important are accurate dates? Such as for presentations and such? For the life of me, no one can remember the exact dates and none of us want to phone out of country or across country to try to see if anyone remembers. Same thing with volunteering dates..lol. For those things, would guestimates be acceptable?

Also I have two letters out on revision.. how do I handle those? They haven't been formally accepted yet, but just asking for long term corrections. Do I give an estimate on the date when they asked for revisions?

Are we also allowed to put future events planned? Like early next year I'm supposed to attend a neurosurgical charter conference.. I think my official designation is going to be caddy-boy.. but still..lol.

For publications that are out with revisions, "accepted with minor revisions," or, "accepted with revisions," etc. For dates you aren't sure about, do the best you can to figure it out, but if not just fill in the month/year or year alone.

And the moral of the story is... keep your c.v. up to date 😉
