Daycares Open During COVID, But Schools Can't. Huh?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That's one of the dumbest charts I've ever seen. Someone just made it up. How is "Going to a Buffet" a high risk activity? Just don't touch your face, or lick your fingers, or better yet wash your hands and the risk is zero.

Also going to a barbershop? The chance your barber/stylist will have COVID is low, and even if they did the chance they'd pass it on is low.

Seems completely made up to comply with the completely useless closures.

Appreciate the effort, but it's clearly an unscientific opinion piece – "9 out of 10 dentists recommend X". It says they pretty much just asked around right on the infographic, but the layperson wouldn't know any better.

Going a library vs. getting a haircut – are you kidding me. A high-traffic, high-touch facility full of vagrants vs. one-on-one contact. Yeah, if the one-on-one has COVID you're certainly at risk for getting it, but the likelihood of being exposed to any single individual having it unawares it remains low.
