So i have been accepted at Hofstra North shore- LIJ school of medicine , Tufts school of medicine, and Stony Brook and I am unsure of where I want to go to. has anyone been in a similar situation how would you go about picking one of the three schools ?

You posted in last cycle's board!

If you are in-state, go to Stony Brook. Very few factors should be worth the cost difference, especially with Tufts being one of the most expensive schools in the country.

I have also been accepted to Tufts and my in-state school, University of New Mexico, which happens to be one on the cheapest school in the country (~16K tuition per year). Almost everyone I talked to, including several doctors, recommended UNM unless I am interested in becoming an academic researcher or obscure subspecialist. Neither of which appeal to me.
It has been emphasized to me that success in medicine is less based on the school you go than how hard you work as a student.
I still haven't made the decision yet for sure but that is my thought process right now.

I'm in a somewhat similar situation to you. Accepted to Upstate, Pitt, Stonybrook and Hofstra. I personally will be attending Stonybrook unless the price of Pitt comes within a few thousand (right now while I like Pitt more the 15kish tuition difference is not worth it to me). In your situation I think Stonybrook is also your best option if you are instate. Stonybrook is a excellent school and the price difference between it and Hofstra, and especially Tufts does not make any sense. Of course see what financial aid ends up being but at full cost its a no brainer.

have you guys accepted offers from both schools ? and if you have when do you plan on making the final decision ?

Same here.
I have also decided to attend second looks at both schools so I can get a better feel for the schools.
