I have a 15+ year old misdemeanor conviction/MIP. I am a Washington State resident and per AMCAS guidelines I am told to not include convictions older than 10 years old due to Washington State Law on FCRA/CRA's (RCW 19.182.040). Does this apply to AACOMAS, and secondaries from schools in-state and out-of-state as well? For example; I did not declare it on my AMCAS, but if an out-of-state school were to ask me on their secondary application, "Have you ever been charged or convicted of a misdemeanor?" Do I disclose it?
I would check the specific rules for AACOMAS. If it does not say anything, and the application asks specifically if you've ever been charged, disclose. I am not sure how to proceed with secondaries specifically.
