Here's my question. If the shcool grant my deferral request, I have to repeat the AMCAS application process for the next academic year of 2008?
 
I don't know too much about it but I don't think so.

You may want to check with the schools you are applying to for their policies concerning deferment, if they even allow it in the first place (some schools don't).
 
i think you just have to apply to the school through amcas as early decision and they will automatically accept you. something like that.

You do have to fill out the AMCAS form again, applying to that single school. It's their way of assuring you don't apply to other schools (without their permission) in your deferred year and then dump them. I've heard you don't have to pay the fee again, but I'm not certain it's true. Anyone else know?
