I'm a first year optometry student. In learning about the different fields/options of work within optometry, I started wondering... Is there such a thing as a map of the density of working optometrists in the US relative to their local populations?
I've never been a big fan of the city, so I wouldn't mind living/working in a more rural area, as long as there are enough people around to build up a patient base. Is there a way to look that up somewhere?
(If it helps, Utah or the surrounding area would be my first choice.)
