"OUTLINES OF TEETH"

TREPEZOID: four sided figure with one pair of parallel sides
1.trepezoid:
a.labial/buccal and lingual/palatal aspects of all teeth. (longest uneven side towards incisal or occlusal surface)

b.mesial and distal sides of all maxillary posterior teeth.(shortest uneven side towrds occlusal surface)

2.Triangle: mesial and distal aspects of all anterior teeth

RHOMBOID: a parallelogram in which adjacent sides are of unequal length and angles are oblioque.

3. rhomboid: mesial and distal side of mandibular posterior teeth.

I will add:

rhomboidal : occlusal of max post (obtuse angles are ML and DB same cusps that form the oblique ridge, to help remember OBtuse and OBlique same cusps)
pentagonal (5 sided): occlusal of mandibular FIRST molar (it has 5 cusps)
and facial of all canines.

oh and remember that the rhomboidal outline of the proximal view of mandibular molars is due to thier lingual inclination and this encourages cusp fracture.

Thanks guys....can anybody answer this question-
Highest and sharpest cusp on primary mandibular first molaris
1.mesiolingual
2.mesiobuccal
3.distobuccal
4.distolingual

occlusal outline of mandibular molars is rectangular, except the 1st molar which is pentagonal coz it has 5 cusps.
the mandibular 2nd premolar is square.
